Preparing for editing Edit

1. Go to the Blog editing page: http://www.wikicities.com/index.php?title=Blog&action=edit
2. Insert the following code before the first blog entry:
   == [[Blog:page_title|page_title]] ==
   {{:Blog:page_title}}
3. Press the "Show preview" button.
4. The preview page should show the page title as red links twice:
   File:New blog entry preview.png

   • If this is the case, press the "Save page" button.

   • If the preview page shows the page title in blue (or purple), and there is content following it, then a blog entry of the same title already exists. In this case, you should think of a new title, preferably one that's more specific.

Editing Edit

On the Blog page, follow either one of the links to your entry. Add the content. At the end, add the following code

Adding to Community portal Edit

To add your blog entry to Community Blog section, follow the section's Edit link and insert the following code:

 <h3>[[Blog:page_title|page_title]]</h3>
 {{:Blog:page_title}}

To add your blog entry to the Feature section, follow the section's Edit link. Replace all instances of the title of the current featured article with that of your blog entry. Use the "Show preview" to check the changes you make.
