Café Lou was a drinking establishment and former haunt of Ford Prefect and Hotblack Desiato and friends located in Gretchen Town, New Betel. They used to spend long nights in the smelly rooms above it with Hotblack playing his ajuitar and trying to write songs that Ford and everyone hated and loudly derided.[1]
